This Qajar-era house is located in the historic fabric of the southern area of Naqsh-e Jahan Square, one of the most important historical sites in Isfahan. Like many of the remaining historical buildings in Iran, this structure had become abandoned and dilapidated, turning into a gathering place for delinquents and the homeless.

The restoration plan for this building involved preserving the two remaining façades and reconstructing the two damaged ones in the Qajar style. Over the course of three years, all phases of restoration, equipment, and operation for this hotel were completed.
