The Panjshanbeh Deen Bathhouse was constructed in the late Qajar era for the Jewish minority residing in Isfahan, located in the heart of the Zand-e-Kermani neighborhood. It remained operational until the late Pahlavi period. Situated adjacent to the grand Zar Gold Market, the bathhouse was repurposed with a unique function as part of its restoration plan, transforming it into a Gold and Jewelry Museum.
Based on studies and archaeological excavations conducted on-site, the design for the demolished sections of the structure was recreated using documented evidence. The project encompasses two primary aspects: the restoration of existing portions and the reconstruction of the demolished areas.
All artifacts unearthed during the excavations have been examined by archaeology teams and will be showcased in the museum’s historical exhibit section in the future.
