Aghabozorg Historical Caravansary

The Historical Caravansary of Aghabazorg is located within the historical fabric of the Atiq Bazaar in Isfahan and consists of two sections: Safavid and Qajar. Portions of the Qajar section had been damaged, and other areas were on the verge of collapse. The restoration plan for this structure encompasses two main components: the restoration of existing buildings and the reconstruction of the damaged parts.

The Safavid section of the caravansary originally served as a Chaykhaneh ( teahouse), while the Qajar section had a commercial function., We also considered commercial uses and restaurant in our restoration plan, In line with the building’s historical record
